Hi, I’m Yajaira. I was born and raised in the San Francisco Bay Area and spent
more than a decade working in the medical field at Stanford Health Care. My
background gave me a strong foundation in health—but it wasn’t until I became
a mom that I truly understood how much support women need, especially in the
postpartum season.
After the birth of my first child, I quickly realized that motherhood can feel both
beautiful and overwhelming. The sleepless nights, the pressure to “do it all,” and
the constant changes left me feeling depleted and unsure of how to care for
myself while caring for my family. That was the moment I understood: a mom’s
wellness isn’t just about her—it’s about the energy, presence, and love she
brings to her whole family.
I began studying fitness, nutrition, and functional medicine, not just for myself
but for the moms around me who were quietly struggling, too. By the time I had
my second child, I had discovered what worked (and what didn’t) for real,
sustainable postpartum recovery. That journey lit a fire in me to share this
knowledge and walk alongside other women so they don’t have to figure it out
alone.
At Welkin Wellness Coaching, I bring together my medical experience and a
mom’s lived understanding to guide women through the challenges of
postpartum. I help moms restore their energy, rebuild their confidence, and
reconnect with themselves in ways that actually fit their season of life.
